Entry #6, Bailey Reshel (2009 Signee, Hortonville, Wis.)

This week was our last week of spring season. After a well needed three day weekend for Easter, we returned to practice with our center of attention being focus and competition. As we worked through this week, we strived to get through a few last kinks before our last matches. We did a lot of work especially on first ball kill drills as well as on maintaining a relentless and aggressive defense. Our seniors continued to come in to help us prepare for our last spring tournament at SDSU where we all have high expectations to successfully carry everything we have been working on over to game day.

After busting it for the past week, preparing for the tournament and testing out in the weight room for the last time this season, it’s starting to sink in that spring is almost over. Thinking back to when we first started conditioning, time surprisingly flew by. This weekend’s tournament is our last go around before the class of 2009 joins us on the court, and we would all like to be able to have a solid last few matches to start next year with.
