Westbrook and Krogman Spark Coyote Men to 79-63 Win Over UMKC
VERMILLION, S.D. - Seniors Charlie Westbrook and Louie Krogman combined for 51 points to lead the South Dakota men's basketball team to a 79-63 win over the Kangaroos in Summit League action Saturday night in Vermillion, S.D. The Coyotes improved to 8-14 overall and 3-10 in the Summit League with the win, while UMKC fell to 9-16 overall and 3-10 in the conference.

Coyote Men's Basketball Looks for Season Sweep of UMKC Saturday in the DakotaDome
VERMILLION, S.D. - The South Dakota men’s basketball team returns home to host travel partner UMKC Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the DakotaDome. The game begins a stretch of six of the final seven at home for South Dakota. The Coyotes are going for the season sweep of the Kangaroos as they posted arguably the most dominating performance of the season Jan. 7 with a 76-57 win in Kansas City. The Coyotes, looking to end a three-game skid, enter with a 7-14 record and a 2-10 mark in conference play. UMKC is 9-15 and 3-9 in league pay. Coyotes Fall in Final Minute at Southern Utah, 62-60
CEDAR CITY, Utah – Down by seven with 5:58 remaining, the South Dakota men’s basketball team made a furious run, but came up just short as Southern Utah’s Jackson Stevenett hit two free throws with 18 seconds left giving SUU a 62-60 victory Saturday evening. With the loss, the Coyotes fell to 7-14 on the year and 2-10 in the Summit League. Southern Utah improved to 12-10 overall and 7-5 in league play.
